Bevan Smith has worked on music for art projects, theatre shows, dance works, TV adverts (Mercedes, Converse, Shiseido, Nissan, Panasonic) and notably the Bafta winning film Touching the Void (dir Kevin McDonald).

Bevan produces and releases music on New York label Carpark and his own Involve records. He recently released six full length solo records - including the new face of smiling which gained rave reviews in such reputed magazines as Spin Magazine and The Wire. The release was followed by a three month international tour with artists Panda Bear, Ariel Pink and Greg Davis.

Bevan is known by his solo performance names Aspen and Signer. His music collaborations include Smith & Thomas (with Andrew Thomas), Skallander (with Matthew Mitchell), Over the Atlantic and Focus Group. Bevan is currently producing the Over the Atlantic debut album and HDU's long awaited new album. He is also composing music with Andrew Thomas for the Television One Ans Vestra documentary, and completing work on new Shiseido and Panasonic commercials for Japanese television.
